I look at these photos and I do know they are not perfect but I cannot believe I took them - I just got interested in photography a year ago with my iPhone and only bought my Nikon about 7 months ago. I am loving taking still life pics.

Hydrangea in a tin can. So yesterday I went down to Pt Pleasant Beach to look in a few of the antique shops. I saw this rusted piece of tin on the floor and it was priced at $20. Best $20 I ever spent - perfect background. The guy in the shop thought it was funny I was so excited about an old rusted piece of tin - I LOVE it. Nikon D750 50mm lens. Hey I know what I like!!!!

Dried Hydrangea in my dining room. Just took a few shots this afternoon. Wanted to go out to shoot but it is just so windy and I wimped out!! Nikon D750 50mm lens. I am shooting much brighter pics lately - wonder what that is all about?? Playing with some photos that I had laying around in LR. This is the beach at Bay Head NJ one of my favorite places. I felt like playing with B&W today. Nikon D750 50mm lens. Took these about 2 months ago but it was after the season was over and a lot of the houses were shuttered for the winter. I always wanted to live in Bay Head.
