Little hydrangea. Was walking around my house today and saw this poor pathetic hydrangea still hanging on to one of my plants. Brought it inside and used it today in my pics. I don't know why but I LOVE this photo. Nikon D750 50mm lens.

More backlight still life work. Nikon D750 50mm lens.  Working on my back lighting skills.  The trick I have found out is to overexpose.  I am enjoying these much lighter photos - I usually work so dark and wait for a cloudy day but I guess I don't have to do that anymore.   BUT I am not moving on from my dark images!!!!!

Dried stuff and my new bottles. Hello February!!!!! Nikon D750 50mm lens. Loving the bottles I got at AC Moore.  Even in winter there are great things to photograph.  I love all the dried leaves and twigs - I love the warm earthy coloring.
