More backlight still life work. Nikon D750 50mm lens.  Working on my back lighting skills.  The trick I have found out is to overexpose.  I am enjoying these much lighter photos - I usually work so dark and wait for a cloudy day but I guess I don't have to do that anymore.   BUT I am not moving on from my dark images!!!!!

Backlight hydrangea.  Nikon D750 50mm lens.  From yesterday working on back lighting still haven't looked at these pics in LR. It is just so weird for me not to be working dark but I am liking these pics and it really is my first serious attempt at backlighting.

Dried hydrangea, tarot cards and a feather. So I decided today to do some experimentation with back light. This something that I have a problem with. Set up my little table in the diningroom window and had a go at some pics. I am trying to lighten up a bit. Nikon D750 50mm lens.

Dried stuff and my new bottles. Hello February!!!!! Nikon D750 50mm lens. Loving the bottles I got at AC Moore.  Even in winter there are great things to photograph.  I love all the dried leaves and twigs - I love the warm earthy coloring.
